Oil supplies to Hungary via Druzhba pipeline resume — top Hungarian diplomat

Reuters reported earlier that oil supplies to Belarus and EU countries via Druzhba had been suspended on December 19 due to technical problems

BUDAPEST, December 22. /TASS/. Supplies of oil from Russia to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline have been resumed, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said.

"Pumping of oil via the Druzhba pipeline has resumed," he wrote on his Facebook account (Facebook is banned in Russia due to its ownership by Meta, which has been designated as extremist).

The BelTA news agency reported on December 21, citing Gomeltransneft Co that oil pumping via the Druzhba pipeline, which was suspended due to technical malfunctions, had been resumed. It said that the Belarusian oil company was operating routinely.

Thanks to oil reserves at oil refineries in Belarus and Hungary, production had not been suspended.
