MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. Russian airlines will carry more than 110 mln people as of the end of 2024, Transport Minister Roman Starovoyt said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

"Yes, it can be a small one as percentage but nevertheless we anticipate that more than 110 mln passengers will use our airlines. The majority of them, 86 mln out of 110 mln, are for domestic regional transportation, inter-regional transportation," the minister said.

The ministry does not record growth in the number of air accidents. "We do not see the rise in the number of air accidents. Certainly, they take place but at the level of prior years" Starovoyt added.
