MOSCOW, December 16. /TASS/. Nicaragua is interested in launching direct flights with Russia, Special Representative of the President of Nicaragua for Russian Affairs Laureano Ortega Murillo said to the Izvestia newspaper.

"In particular, we discussed tourism with our Russian colleagues. We are interested in working to possibly launch direct flights between Russia and Nicaragua in the future," he said.

"We also discussed cooperation on culture and the establishment of a partnership between the media of our countries," the politician added.
