MOSCOW, December 13. /TASS/. The Russian government extended higher duties on certain goods from unfriendly countries until the end of 2025.

In particular, the Cabinet decree covers perfumery, cosmetics, alcoholic drinks, sweets, batteries, construction materials, weapons and certain other products. Restrictions were in effect earlier until December 31, 2024.

Renewal of measures was caused by continued effect of sanctions of unfriendly countries against Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development noted.
