MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. Russia should become a world leader in the adoption of artificial intelligence in all areas of life, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at an international conference called AI Journey.

"Artificial intelligence technologies are intended to become a most important resource for achieving national development goals, ensuring the strengthening of the country's defense capability, qualitative development of the economy and social sectors, public administration, and growth of innovations. And in order to address these goals successfully, Russia must become a world leader not only in terms of creating, but also adopting and integrating artificial intelligence in all spheres of our life without exception," he said.

According to the president, the government would do right to blaze a trail with daring examples.

"Of course, we must lead the way," he said.
