MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. Annual inflation in Russia amounted to 8.88% in November compared to 8.54% in October, the Economic Development Ministry said.

"In November 2024, inflation on the consumer market was 1.43%. In the food sector price growth rates equaled 2.33% <…>. In the non-food sector price growth rates in November declined (to 0.51% month-on-month) <…>. In the services sector the price dynamics was 1.31%. In November, annual inflation was registered at 8.88%," the ministry said.

According to the macroeconomic forecast published by the ministry this September, Russia’s inflation outlook for 2024 has been adjusted from 5.1% expected earlier to 7.3%.
