The ministry set the target of Russian tourists traveling to Cuba at about 200,000 people for this year
ST. PETERSBURG, December 6. /TASS/. The decline in the Russian tourist flow to Cuba due to problems with electricity and jet fuel in the country is not anticipated, department director of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development Nikita Kondratyev told reporters.
"Not at the moment," the official said.
The ministry set the target of Russian tourists traveling to Cuba at about 200,000 people for this year.
"It is fairly stable because the number of flights operating and the infrastructure available in Cuba for Russian tourists are functioning broadly. We do not expect any breakthrough growth in the tourist flow because we are linked to the infrastructural capabilities we have at the moment," Kondratyev added.
