MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. The unemployment rate in Russia stands at 2.3% at present, President Vladimir Putin said at the 15th VTB Russia Calling! Investment Forum.

"The unemployment level in Russia is record low in general - just 2.3%," the head of state said.

"This indicator is minimal amid the majority of leading world economies and developing countries," Putin noted. It is above 7% in many European countries, he added.
