MOSCOW, December 3. /TASS/. The daily number of users of YouTube in Russia from August to November 2024 fell by 11% to 46 mln people, according to data from Mediascope.

"The daily number of YouTube users has decreased by 11% since August - from 52 mln to 46 mln people," Mediascope said.

A disruption in YouTube's operations that began on August 1 affected users of the video hosting app on iOS and Android. The browser version of YouTube is also experiencing problems.

In March 2022, YouTube suspended the ability to subscribe to Premium format for Russian users. After the start of the special military operation, YouTube suspended monetization for content creators from Russia, while Google also disabled contextual advertising for Russian residents in the search engine and the video hosting website.
