Aeroflot reports difficulties with purchases, returns of tickets

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. The issue and the return of tickets and provision of optional services in all sales channels of Aeroflot is temporarily complicated due to a global failure in the Leonardo booking system, the Russian flag carrier reports.
"In view of the global failure in the Leonardo (Sirena-travel) booking system), the issue, the reissue and the return of tickets and optional services in all sales channels of the airline (website, customer center and agents) is complicated," the company said. The service provider takes measures to restore normal operation of the system as soon as possible, Aeroflot said.
The passenger registration system in airports, on the website and in the mobile app is functioning as usual, the airline adds.
