MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. The Russian government extended the food embargo on countries that have imposed sanctions on Russia until the end of 2026.
As part of the implementation of the presidential decree, the government adopted a resolution to extend the food embargo, which prohibits the import of products from countries that have imposed sanctions against Russia, until the end of 2026.
The Russian government also expanded the list of countries whose products are subject to food embargo.
Now, in addition to the US, the EU, Canada, the UK, Australia, Norway, Ukraine, Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, and Liechtenstein, New Zealand has been added to the list.
Products banned from import include meat, sausages, fish, seafood, dairy products, vegetables, fruits, and other products.
