More than 80% of settlements in Kazakhstan are in national currencies — Putin

ASTANA, November 28. /TASS/. The problem of payments between Russia and Kazakhstan remains in part but more than 80% of them have already been converted to national currencies, President Vladimir Putin said.
"The problem is and partly remains but we have already transferred more than 80% of all settlements to national currencies," Putin said.
The head of state cautioned against any steps that would be directed to ruin relations between the two countries. "From my point of view, everything should be done to strengthen our ties," the Russian leader added.
