Russia increases fertilizer production by 9.4% in 10 months

Ammonia production increased by 4.9% over ten months to 15 mln tons, sulfur production decreased by 9% to 4.5 mln tons
MOSCOW, 27 November. /TASS/. The volume of fertilizer production in Russia in January-October 2024 increased by 9 according to data from the Russian State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
In October, fertilizer production decreased by 2.1% year-on-year and increased by 5.6% compared to September 2024.
Ammonia production increased by 4.9% over ten months to 15 mln tons, sulfur production decreased by 9% to 4.5 mln tons. Plastics production increased by 1.8% to 9.1 mln tons.
In 2023, Russia’s production of mineral fertilizers increased by 10.3% to 26 mln tons in terms of 100% nutrients.
