Russian stocks down after rising as Wednesday trading opened

By 10:13 a.m. Moscow time the MOEX was down by 0.12%, while the RTS was down by 0.12%

MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/. Russia’s stock market went up as Wednesday trading opened on Moscow Exchange as the MOEX Index gained 0.57% to 2,478.34 points, while the RTS Index added 0.58% to 743.23 points, according to trading data as of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time (07:00 a.m. GMT). The yuan against the ruble rose by 0.56% to 14.75 rubles as trading opened compared with previous closing.

By 10:13 a.m. Moscow time (07:09 a.m. GMT) the stocks had moved to the negative territory as the MOEX was down by 0.12% at 2,461.3 points, while the RTS was down by 0.12% at 738.03 points.

On the previous day the MOEX Index failed to keep the level of 2,500 points, ending the trading day at April 2023 lows.
