Oil production in Kazakhstan to decrease to 88.4 mln tons in 2024 — minister

Earlier, the Kazakh energy ministry said that oil production was planned at 90.3 mln tons by the end of this year

ASTANA, November 25. /TASS/. Kazakhstan’s oil production will total 88.4 mln tons in 2024, Kazakh Energy Minister Almassadam Satkaliyev said.

"In ten months, oil production amounted to 73.5 mln tons. Oil output forecast for this year is 88.4 mln tons. The decrease in production compared with plans is due to capital repairs at large fields," he said addressing the lower house of the republic’s parliament.

Earlier, the Kazakh energy ministry said that oil production was planned at 90.3 mln tons by the end of this year.
