MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. Moscow, Beijing and Astana are interested in transit gas supplies via Kazakhstan, a source told TASS.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said earlier that Moscow and Beijing considered a new gas route via Kazakhstan for 35 bln cubic meters.
"Yes, obviously. They [Kazakhstan] as a transit country are interested in it," the source said when asked a respective question. "Moreover, they have their own gas fields in the Caspian Sea. And, of course, they would like to expand the markets of export of their resources, in which we as partners will cooperate," he said.

On November 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan.
