Russia and Bahrain plan to increase number of direct flights — ambassador to Moscow
As Ahmed al-Saati noted, to increase the number of flights, Bahrain needs to order and lease aircraft, and this takes time
MOSCOW, November 22. /TASS/. Russia and Bahrain have plans to increase the number of direct flights between the countries, Bahrain's ambassador to Moscow, Ahmed al-Saati, told TASS.
"We have plans to increase flights, because demand is high. Almost all tickets are sold out. But, unfortunately, we do not have enough planes. This is in our plans for the future," he said, answering a question on the matter.
"We invite other airlines to fly to Bahrain, we are open to this. As you know, Red Wings Airlines flies directly to Bahrain from Sochi. The door is open, we invite airlines," the diplomat added.
As the ambassador noted, to increase the number of flights, Bahrain needs to order and lease aircraft, and this takes time. "But this is in our plans. We are still in search for [additional] planes," al-Saati said.
