The Kimberley Process (KP), which is the international diamond certification organization, proved its efficiency and ability to adapt to new realities in interests of all its participants, Russian Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Moiseev said after the KP plenary session.

"The Kimberley Process, despite next attempts of the aggressive minority represented by G7 countries to disrupt the plenary session through politicizing its agenda, proved its efficiency and ability to adapt to new realities in interests of all Kimberley Process participants and their national diamond industries," the official said.

"Furthermore, the Kimberley Process proved that the diamond industry is strong only when diamond producers firmly keep their ground and speak in one voice," Moiseev added.
