"Information about the shutdown of the Nizhny Novgorod Refinery appeared in certain mass media is the absolute fake. We formally declare that the Nizhny Novgorod Refinery was not shut down for the turnaround; it is functioning normally and according to the planned production schedule," the company said.

Catalytic crackers 1 and 2 are functioning as part of the target operations program of the refinery, the company added.
