MOSCOW, November 19. /TASS/. Sales of Lada cars in the UAE have not yet started but preparations are underway, President of the Russian automaker Maxim Sokolov told TASS.

"Sales have not yet started in the UAE but preparations are underway. Two distributors are there: one is selling to neighboring countries, to Africa, and the other one will sell directly in Dubai," Sokolov said.

Avtovaz hopes to complete certification of Lada cars for the UAE market by the end of this year, Sokolov said earlier.
