MOSCOW, November 19. /TASS/. MTS Group revenues under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) surged by 15.3% to 180.4 bln rubles ($1.8 bln) in the third quarter of this year, the Russian mobile operator reports.

"MTS revenues over the third quarter of 2024 increased by 15.3% year on year to 180.4 bln rubles," the company said. The group explains growth by the overall rise in revenues across all business lines.

In the meantime, net profits of MTS dropped by nine times to one billion rubles ($10 mln) in the third quarter of this year. The company explains it by "growth of interest payment expenses."
