MOSCOW, November 19. /TASS/. The situation in regions is always taken into consideration by the board of directors of the Bank of Russia when key rate-related decisions are taken, Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina said.

"Heads of our regional offices are in close contact with enterprises of various scale, in various sectors. And we always consider their view on what is going on in the regions when taking each of the key rate decision," she said at a plenary session in the State Duma (lower house of the parliament).

The work is based on data covering the overall state of the economy, Nabiullina noted. "In particular, we rely on monthly polls of 15,000 enterprises, a direct discussion of pressing issues with business," she said.
