MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Mass production of the Lada Iskra family of cars is planned to start in the spring of 2025, Avtovaz said in a statement after the meeting of its Board of Directors.

"The world premiere of the Lada Iskra sedan, created on a fully localized global platform, took place at SPIEF-2024, and mass production of this family of cars will start in the spring of 2025," the statement said.

In June, Avtovaz presented its new model Lada Iskra for the first time at SPIEF. It is a new family of B-class cars, which will include a sedan, a wagon, and a wagon with increased off-road capability in the Cross version. According to CEO of Avtovaz Maxim Sokolov, the price of the car will start from 1 mln rubles ($10,018).
