MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Annual inflation in Russia in October was 8.54% against 8.63% in September, according to the Economic Development Ministry's review of the current price situation.

In October 2024, inflation on the consumer market was 0.75%. In the food sector, the rate of price growth was 1.23%: prices for fruit and vegetable products changed by 1.44%, for other food products - by 1.20%.

In the non-food segment, price dynamics were 0.68%: the rate of price growth for medicines and gasoline decreased, communications equipment became cheaper, and the decline in prices for TV and radio sets accelerated. In the services sector, the rate of price growth decreased.
