According to RFPA Head Andrey Guryev, the fertilizers production volumes in Russia are steadily growing and new plants are being built
NEW DELHI, November 12. /TASS/. Production of fertilizers in Russia is expected to surge by 9% to about 64 mln metric tons this year, head of the Russian Fertilizers Producers Association (RFPA) Andrey Guryev told reporters.
"We will produce somewhat 9% more mineral fertilizers in annual terms. Companies continue keeping their investments thus far and I fundamentally believe we will produce already more than 60 mln metric tons this year, probably about 64 mln metric tons. It was more than 59 [mln metric tons] last year," he said.
"I hope the positive dynamics will remain, especially that we see production volumes in Russia are growing and plants are being built," Guryev said, answering the question whether the pace remains positive in 2025.
