Russia eyes India as an important partner in strategic projects in the sphere of international logistics, primarily for the Northern Sea Route and the North - South corridor, Denis Manturov said earlier
NEW DELHI, November 12. /TASS/. Russia and India are considering the opportunity of joint production of ice class vessels for the Northern Sea Route, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov told reporters.
"An [Indian] delegation was sent to Russia on this project actually in September. [The case in point] was training in the first instance for crews from the Indian side and joint production or construction of ice rated ships with us, which will provide for voyages along this route," Manturov said.
