Russia ready to supply test batch of 50 Moskvich cars to Cuba

A partner company, Taxis Cuba, has already agreed to step in and provide Havana's taxi depot
MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. Moscow is ready to supply Havana with a test batch of 50 Russian Moskvich cars for local taxis, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said after a meeting with Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz.
"A new promising joint project will be the launch of taxi transportation in Cuba using Moskvich cars. Moscow is ready to deliver the first test batch [of] 50 cars. On the Cuban side, a partner company, Taxis Cuba, has already agreed to step in and provide Havana's taxi depot. We thank Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin for supporting this project," Chernyshenko said.
