MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. Rostec may build a plant together with a Chinese carmaker in the Moscow Region or in Siberia, according to Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov.

"We recently returned from a business trip to China, where we visited a plant of a major automobile manufacturer with a very advanced production - more than a thousand robots and almost no people in the workshops. We agreed with them that we would try to build a similar plant somewhere here, maybe in the Moscow region or in Siberia. <…> They are ready to help us," he said.

Rostec State Corporation is the largest engineering corporation in Russia. It unites over 800 scientific and production organizations in 60 regions of the country. The corporation is a major supplier of weapons, military and special equipment under state defense contracts. It develops high-tech civilian production in industries of strategic importance to the country, such as aircraft, engine, transport and power engineering, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, new materials, etc.
