MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. The 10th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok will be held on September 3-6, 2025, the Roscongress Foundation said in a statement.
"The 10th anniversary Eastern Economic Forum is scheduled for September 3-6, 2025," the statement reads.
"The success of previous forums has set the bar high for the anniversary event. 2,480 agreements worth over 29 trillion rubles were signed at the Eastern Economic Forum between 2015 and 2024. Agreements were concluded primarily for the construction of infrastructure, the development of transport networks for energy and mining, and the overall socio-economic development of Russia’s regions. Participants will continue their work in 2025 as they implement projects and solutions to strengthen the local economy and achieve Russia’s national development goals," Adviser to the Russian President, Executive Secretary of the EEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov was quoted as saying.
"The importance of the Eastern Economic Forum to the development of the Far East and the country as a whole is undeniable. The Forum raises issues of strategic importance for the development of the Far Eastern Federal District and the entire Asia-Pacific region. All decisions made at the Forum have one goal - to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Far East and make the Far East more attractive to investors, qualified specialists, students, and people looking for adventure. The Forum is an opportunity to strengthen international co-operation and ties with countries open to dialogue and attract new investment. A record number of investment agreements were signed this year and more than 7,000 people from 75 countries took part. Preparations for the 10th anniversary Forum are already underway, and I have no doubt that interest among politicians, entrepreneurs, and experts will be as great as ever," Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev was quoted as saying.
The Eastern Economic Forum took place on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok on September 3-6. The main theme of the EEF this year was 'Far East 2030. Combining strengths to create new potential.'
