Russia already reached oil production targets in OPEC+, Novak says
The OPEC+ will discuss the market situation and decide on the joint action from January 1 in December 2024 at the ministerial meeting, the Russian deputy prime minister said
SOCHI, November 6. /TASS/. Russia has already reached target levels of oil production set out in the OPEC+ agreement and totaling about nine million barrels daily, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the Valdai Discussion Club.
"Concerning the activity within the OPEC+ framework, Russia has achieved the levels we assumed voluntarily as production commitments; these are nine million barrels per day," Novak said.
The OPEC+ will discuss the market situation and decide on the joint action from January 1 in December 2024 at the ministerial meeting, the official said. "In December, we will discuss current situations in international markets at the ministerial meeting and accordingly will decide on further joint activities, starting from January 1," he added.
