SOCHI, November 6. /TASS/. Russia will continue to implement its tasks regardless of the outcome of the US elections, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on the sidelines of a meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
"Today, let's say, we are holding on, and our economy is firmly on its feet. Accordingly, we will proceed with the implementation of the goals and objectives that the Russian President set in his address (to the Federal Assembly - TASS). Regardless of who becomes the President of the United States, we have our own tasks in social policy and economic development, which in the next six years will be implemented in accordance with the President's address and as part of the developed national projects, all in order to achieve the seven main national goals the President spoke about," Novak said.

However, he noted that in recent years, Russia has done a lot to strengthen and diversify its economy, substitute imports, ensure food and energy security, and develop friendly relations with partners and countries in the South.
