Russian Railways repaired 4,600 km of tracks year-to-date

The main season of the track repair campaign is close to the end, the company said
MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Russian Railways has repaired more than 4,600 km of tracks from the start of this year, the railway operator said on its official Telegram channel.
"More than 4,600 km of tracks were repaired on the Russian Railways network from the start of the year. Particular attention is paid to the Eastern Range [Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberial railways - TASS]; more than 1,000 km of tracks were revamped there," the company said.
The main season of the track repair campaign is close to the end but the infrastructure upgrade can take place year-round owing to modern technologies, Russian Railways noted.
