MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Russia increased its oil and gas revenues in January-October 2024 in annual terms by 41.7% - to 9.539 trillion rubles ($97.8 bln) against 7.21 trillion rubles ($73.9 bln) a year earlier, according to statistics from the Russian Finance Ministry and TASS calculations.

In October, revenues decreased by 25.9%, to 1.212 trillion rubles ($12.4 bln). Taxes on the extraction and export of oil and gas condensate (mineral extraction tax, export duty and additional profit tax) brought the budget 11.081 trillion rubles ($113 bln) in ten months. A year ago, they amounted to 7.86 trillion rubles ($80.5 bln). The largest increase was in the collection of the additional profit tax - by 57.7%, to 2.046 trillion rubles ($21 bln).

The mineral extraction tax and export duty on gas increased by 8.5%. In January-October 2024, they totaled 1.523 trillion rubles ($15.6 bln) against 1.403 trillion rubles ($14.4 bln) a year earlier.

In the first 10 months of 2024, oil companies also received 1.544 trillion rubles ($15.7 bln) in payments from the treasury as part of the fuel damping mechanism, which is 35.7% more than in January-October last year, when they amounted to about 1.138 trillion rubles ($11.6 bln).
