MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Brent oil futures with delivery in December plunged below $73 a barrel on the London-based ICE for the first time since October 1, 2024, according to trading data.

Brent futures dropped to $72.98 a barrel, down 1.97%. WTI futures with the settlement in December lost 2.51% to $68.33 per barrel.

Futures for the Brent oil blend continued falling later to $72.69 a barrel (-2.36%).
