Brent oil price falls below $70 per barrel, first time since September 11

MOSCOW, October 1. /TASS/. The price of Brent oil futures contract with December delivery fell below $70 per barrel on London’s ICE for the first time since September 11, 2024.
As of 12:10 Moscow time, the price of Brent fell by 2.5% to $69.91 per barrel.
By 12:25 Moscow time, the Brent futures slowed their decline and were trading at $70.1 (-2.23%). At the same time, futures for WTI crude oil with November delivery lost 2.45%, falling to $66.5 per barrel.
