Russia’s ammonia production increased by 6% in January-August to 12 mln tons

MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. Russia’s production of fertilizers rose by 12.4% in January-August 2024 year-on-year to 18.8 mln tons equivalent to 100% of nutritive substances, the State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported.

In August, production of fertilizers added 8.1% year-on-year and 2.7% month-on-month.

Russia’s ammonia production increased by 6% in January-August to 12 mln tons, sulphur output fell by 10.7% to 3.6 mln tons, while production of plastics edged up by 0.6% to 7.3 mln tons.
