Russian Railways’ loading volumes down 6% to 97.5 mln tons in August

MOSCOW, September 2. /TASS/. Russian Railways’ loading volumes fell by 6% in August 2024 year-on-year to 97.5 mln tons, according to a statement released by the state-owned railroad monopoly on its Telegram channel.
"The volume loaded on the network of Russian Railways amounted to 97.5 mln tons in August, which is 6% lower than in the same period in 2023," the statement reads.
Year-to-date loading volumes amounted to 795.2 mln tons, down by 3.7% year-on-year, the holding added.
