Rosenergoatom reports decline in revenues last year
The company forecasts stability of operations in 2024
MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. Revenues of Rosenergoatom, the division of the Russian state corporation Rosatom consolidating all nuclear power plants in the country, equaled more than 539 bln rubles ($5.8 bln) which is almost 1.9 bln rubles ($20.4 mln) smaller than in the last year, the company reported.
Profits of the company also dropped from almost 124 bln rubles ($1.33 bln) in 2022 to 115.4 bln rubles ($1.23 bln) in the last year, according to accounting data.
The company forecasts stability of operations in 2024. "In 2023, intensification of external risks is noted, related to the geopolitical situation and the sanction policy of a number of foreign countries in respect of individual Russian organizations. Rosenergoatom believes that the current political and economic situations do not have significant influence on operations and financial stability of the entity and also do not cast a doubt on the business continuity of the organization during 12 months after the reporting date," the company added.
Rosenergoatom comprises eleven operating nuclear power plants, including the floating nuclear thermal power plant.
