MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. The steady growth of prices for March may decline below the 6-7% range, Russian Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina said addressing the State Duma (lower house of the parliament).

"In December-February the steady growth of prices declined to the range of 6-7% and we will see even lower figures for March," she said.

Earlier, Nabiullina said that tight monetary policy curbs inflation, though its restraining influence on economic growth is minimal.
