Russian Cabinet cancels markup on exports of certain petrochemicals

The decision is aimed at supporting plants of the branch of industry and production volumes, the ministry said.

MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. The government made the decision to cancel the markup used for exports of individual kinds of petrochemicals and raw materials for their production, the Russian Ministry of Energy said.

"According to the document, when producers abide by certain conditions, the markup of 50,000 rubles ($545.2) per metric ton to the rate of the export customs duty will not apply to exports of stable naphtha and pyro condensate, aviation petrol, fractions of aromatic hydrocarbons, lube oils, petroleum jelly, paraffin and wax," the ministry said.

The decision is aimed at supporting plants of the branch of industry and production volumes, the ministry said.
