Azur Air plane leaves Phuket after emergency on board
According to the West Siberian transport prosecutor's office, an inquiry is being conducted
BANGKOK, April 5. /TASS/. Azur Air’s Phuket - Sochi flight, delayed for several hours due to an "abnormal situation" on board, has departed for its destination, a spokesman for Phuket International Airport has told TASS.
"Flight ZF 4068 has departed for its destination," the airport official said.
The Azur Air liner was scheduled to leave for Sochi at 15:00 local time. The airport’s spokesperson said earlier the flight was delayed due to an emergency situation on board, which was eliminated a few hours later while passengers were waiting in the airport terminal.
According to the West Siberian transport prosecutor's office, an inquiry is being conducted. There are 276 passengers, including 60 minors on board the plane.
The Russian Consulate General in Phuket province has told TASS that none of the passengers on the flight had asked for assistance.
