Expenditures on National Projects in Russia total $7.13 bln as of April 1
The following National Projects take the lead in terms of utilizing expenditures: Culture (48.6%), Science and Universities (38%), and Labor Productivity (32.4%)
MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Expenditures from the federal budget for the implementation of National Projects in Russia amounted provisionally to 657.5 bln rubles ($7.13 bln) or 21.7% of the target figure as of April 1 of this year, the Finance Ministry reports.
"According to preliminary data, as of April 1, 2024, performance of federal budget expenditures for the implementation of National Projects amounted to 657.5 bln rubles or 21.7% of the planned budget allocations," the ministry said.
The following National Projects take the lead in terms of utilizing expenditures: Culture (48.6%), Science and Universities (38%), and Labor Productivity (32.4%).
According to the ministry’s data, performance is over 20% for Tourism and Hospitality Industry (26.7%), Healthcare (26.4%), Demography (25.4%), Digital Economy of the Russian Federation (24.3%), Housing and Urban Environment (22.7%), and Ecology (20.8%),
They are followed by Education (18.9%), Safe and High-Quality Roads (13.9%), Small and Medium-size Business and Individual Entrepreneurial Initiative Support (13%), the Comprehensive Plan for the upgrade and expansion of the main infrastructure (transport part) (12.8%), International Cooperation and Export (11.9%), and Unmanned Aerial Systems (3.8%), the Ministry informed.
