Rosneft starts building pump stations in Vostok Oil project

MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. RN-Vankor, a member of the upstream division of Rosneft, has initiated construction of Suzun and Paiyakha pump stations supporting oil transportation over the Vankor-Paiyakha-North Bay Port pipeline of the Vostok Oil project, the company said.
Site preparation is currently underway at the Paiyakha pump station construction site. Top priority construction materials to launch construction were imported there. An evaluation and tests of pile driving equipment are performed at the Suzun pump station site. Pile foundation installation and erection of process buildings and structures will begin after all the required procedures, the company said..
Rotation camps will be built near new pump stations. All the production facilities of the Vostok Oil project are building constructed with the use of technologies successfully tested in the Vankor cluster, the company informed.
The resource base of the Vostok Oil Project in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Region stands at 6.5 bln metric tons of sweet oil. The oil terminal in the North Bay Port will provide for oil throughput from project fields for further shipment by tankers along the Northern Sea Route.
