Price of Brent oil surpasses $89 per barrel on London’s ICE first since late October 2023

The price of futures contracts of WTI crude oil for May delivery was up by 1.42% at $85.28 per barrel
MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. The price of futures contracts of Brent crude oil for June delivery has risen above $89 per barrel on London's ICE for the first time since October 30, 2023, according to trading data.
As of 12:43 p.m. Moscow time (9:43 a.m. GMT) the Brent price was up by 1.38% at $89.02 per barrel.
As of 12:58 p.m. Moscow time (9:58 a.m. GMT) the Brent price was up by 1.31% at $88.96 per barrel whereas the price of futures contracts of WTI crude oil for May delivery was up by 1.42% at $85.28 per barrel.
