MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Avtovaz sales in Russia soared by 83.6% year on year in March 2024 to 42,800 cars, the Russian automaker reports.

"Sales of Lada cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia stood at 42,840 units as of the end of March 2024 - this is the highest figure over the last eleven years. Results of March sales are also 53.6% higher than in February 2024 and 83.6% higher against March 2023," the company said.

As of the end of January - March 2024, 91,563 Lada cars and light commercial vehicles were sold in Russia, which is 42.5% above the result in the like period of 2023.
