NOVO-OGAREVO, March 28. /TASS/. About one and a half trillion rubles ($16.4 bln) will be invested in the development of seaside resorts in Russia, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said at a meeting on tourism chaired by President Vladimir Putin.
"We need five [rubles] for every one ruble. That is, 300 bln rubles ($3.3 bln) of budget money will lead to 1.5 trillion rubles of money from investors. This is indeed a very huge amount," Chernyshenko said.
Financing should be carefully considered when extending National Projects and revising other plans and programs for new resorts, the official said. Such complex projects cannot be implemented without support on the ground, he added.
