Renewed national project for tourism development to be launched next year — Putin
The Russian leader recalled that work in the format of the national tourism project began in 2021
MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. The renewed national project for the development of the Russian tourism industry will be launched in the beginning of 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting on the development of year-round resorts.
"Today, taking into account the priorities outlined in the address [to the Federal Assembly], we will discuss specific decisions that should form the basis of the renewed Tourism and Hospitality Industry national project. Its implementation should start at the beginning of next year," he said.
Putin recalled that work in the format of the national tourism project began in 2021. According to him, the proposed tools and approaches have shown their effectiveness.
"Last year alone, the number of tourists visiting Dagestan more than four times. The flow of tourists to the Altai Republic, Adygea and the Leningrad region doubled. Routes are appearing in almost all regions that are interesting to families with children and people of all ages," the President said.
