Russia constructed over 100 vessels of different purpose in 2023 — PM

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russia was proactively engaged in construction of ships of different purpose last year, Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin said.
"More than one hundred units of the most different purposes were built last year, including two Aframax type tankers at the Zvezda complex in the Primorsky Region, the Alexander Deev car and rail ferry for the route between the Sakhalin and the mainland at a shipyard in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, a marine platform with a liquefied natural gas storage for the first stage of the Arctic LNG 2 project at the site in the Murmansk Region, and also fishing and crab catching vessels at shipyards in various regions of the country," Mishustin noted.
"It is critical at present to continue mastering and creating the whole range of modern science-intensive components and items," the Prime Minister added.
