Russian Post resumes ground delivery to Europe
The company explained that the temporary change in delivery was due to bureaucratic difficulties in processing land cross-border transportation in the European direction
MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. Russian Post delivers parcels to European countries by land again, Chief Executive Officer of the postal service Mikhail Volkov told TASS. Ground delivery was suspended in February, with more than 20 countries affected.
"Russian post has resumed delivery of parcels to Europe by land, with the possibility of delivery of parcels to European countries by air persisting," Volkov said.
The company explained that the temporary change in delivery was due to bureaucratic difficulties in processing land cross-border transportation in the European direction. In particular, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the UK, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, France, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden and Estonia were affected.
