Russia’s liquefied gas imports to Georgia double in February

According to the report, supplies from Russia accounted for 99.8% of all liquefied gas imports
TBILISI, March 26. /TASS/. Russia’s supplies of liquefied gas to Georgia doubled in February year-on-year, the Union of Oil Products Importers of Georgia reported.
"In February 2024, imports of liquefied gas totaled 6,470 tons, which is 3,370 tons, or 108.7%, higher than in the same period last year," the report said.
Supplies from Russia accounted for 99.8% of all liquefied gas imports, or 6,460 tons.
Meanwhile, oil bitumen imports fell by 56.5% in the reporting period year-on-year to 4,000 tons, according to the Union. The highest portion of bitumen was supplied from Iraq (77.5%). Russia came in second (22.5%).
